I graduated from VCMT in 2021 with over 550 hours of clinical internships and outreaches. I use swedish massage and neuromuscular techniques, trigger point therapy, and joint mobilizations to help support a variety of concerns. Before the program, I studied Kinesiology as a way to enhance my martial arts training. I completed my diploma at Langara before transferring to UBC for my bachelor's degree. It was in my later years of post-secondary education that I found a curiosity in massage therapy.

Albert Chan
Registered Massage Therapist

I believe in empowering patients to have control over their well-being is an essential role in every lifestyle. Healthcare is not only for rehabilitation and management, but also for prevention and education. Thus, my approach to treatment is about providing patient-centred care and treatment plan customization due to the uniqueness of every individual’s body. Health is always involved in all sorts of adventures through the highs and lows. My adventure is to discover how I can push beyond my massage therapy foundation.
