Lynda has benefited from the practice of yoga for over 20 years. She credits her practice with guiding her towards physical and mental balance during her demanding career as a professional dancer.
Lynda found that yoga was essential for her restoration, replenishment and health of her body, mind, and soul, and decided to dive deeper into the study of yoga. She discovered a desire to share with others how the tools of yoga supported her in her life and career.
Lynda is an E-RYT 500 with many formal certifications and trainings, including Yoga teacher trainings with Prana Yoga Teacher’s College and Zenyasa Yoga & Wellness Studio, and additional certifications in Anatomy Studies for Yoga Teachers, Pre-Natal Yoga, Therapeutic Yoga and Gyrokinesis®. Additionally she facilitates Social Presencing Theater (SPT), a mindful movement form that utilizes embodied presence practices for personal and collective creative transformation. She also holds a B.S in Arts Administration from Butler University.
Through her depth and breadth of movement knowledge, Lynda teaches with a calm, friendly demeanor and guides her students with an integrative, challenging, and therapeutic approach. She aims to infuse students with the joys of living in their bodies with deeper more nuanced awareness, abundant kindness, and compassionate connection. And encourages this infusion to overflow into the world to benefit people and planet.
