Megan's massage therapy journey began at the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in Victoria after discovering its' many benefits and healing ways while teaching yoga at a multidisciplinary clinic.
After graduation and some interest in sports massage, her focus has been redirected towards women’s health, perinatal, energy and breath-work. She also has a passion for working with clients who are experiencing anxiety, stress, burnout, and wanting to learn how to regulate their nervous system.
Alongside massage therapy, she is also a Level 2 Reiki Practitioner, 200hr certified yoga instructor from the Vancouver School of Bodywork & Massage, and is currently studying nervous system regulation as an addition to her ever growing tool belt.
Outside of work you can find her doing yoga, going for cold swims in the ocean, running, dancing anywhere there is music playing, or creating tinctures and learning about magical and medicinal uses for herbs and plants.
Megan believes in a whole body approach to manual therapy, addressing both the physical and energetic bodies. Her goal as a therapist is to provide space and guidance to help her clients reconnect with their bodies. She hopes to facilitate and empower them to continue the work outside of the treatment space, and to share her knowledge, while always continuing to deepen her own practice.
