In my counselling practice, I take a person-centered approach which means that therapy is tailored to you and your unique needs. It also means that you get to be an active participant in your healing journey: setting goals that are crafted to you and collaborating on methods to get you there. Leading with kindness, compassion, and curiosity, we will explore thoughts, feelings, and beliefs which permeate past experiences and influence your current state of being. Through the therapeutic relationship and evidence-based interventions, we will uncover the strength within you to overcome adversity and to live a life in alignment with your authentic self. I welcome individuals from all backgrounds to join me in the counselling space, including individuals from the LGBTQ+ community.

My fascination with health and wellness grew out of my passion for dance and the pursuit of longevity as a dancer.   Through my experiential learning in the art and science of human movement, I discovered the power of the mind-body-spirit connection and the importance of caring for my health holistically.

Tabitha Alexander
Graduate Intern Counsellor

(she/Her)

After enduring a significant dance injury, I was faced with the challenges of loss and of re-evaluating my career goals in dance. Through this hardship, I experienced the connection between the state of my mental health and the condition of my physical body. Counselling was a central tenet to my healing journey and consequently guided me to my current practice. It is with gratitude, experience and knowledge that I join you now in your journey.
