Ola works to nurture the body’s innate ability to heal. She often uses stretches and slow, deep pressure during treatment. But her approach will vary depending on each person’s individual needs and comfort.
She holds a certification in Dr. Vodder’s Manual Lymphatic Drainage, and particularly enjoys working with the body to calm the nervous system and promote mindfulness, deep stillness, and relaxation.
Before moving to Vancouver and becoming a massage therapist, Ola finished a degree in fine arts, majoring in painting. Along with massage and painting, she spends her time rock climbing and cycling.
My philosophy is that great healing and change can happen when a person feels heard, respected, and comfortable. The relationship between therapist and patient should make you feel empowered and safe to accept and explore what your body and mind are telling you.
