I have always imagined that I would work in a healing profession with people but my career path first drew me towards many years in the technology world before reconnecting with my values of care and compassion. I believe this life experience makes me a better therapist as I help clients connect with their authentic selves.
I live in East Vancouver with my husband and two dogs and feel most at home near the sea or in the forest but I also love to travel. I love hiking, gardening, dancing, reading, and making art.
We all have unique strengths and life experiences, and I believe that we all have the potential for therapeutic healing and personal growth. I welcome the opportunity to support you in your journey towards emotional well-being, and I will hold space for you with compassion, clarity, acceptance, and empathy as we work together.
My approach is to take a trauma-informed, strengths-based perspective, individually tailored to each unique client. I incorporate mindfulness, somatic movement and narrative exploration to help guide you towards your goals.
