Osteopathy

Jill Truscott

Osteopathy is a form of manual therapy which facilitates healing by focusing on how the skeleton, joints, muscles, nerves, circulation, connective tissue and internal organs function as a holistic unit.

Initial visits with an Osteopathic Practitioner are 60min in length and include a comprehensive intake where we discuss your current complaint and medical history, examination and treatment. Exercises and self- management strategies will be implemented where necessary. Patients will be provided with a customized treatment plan and strategy to reach your overall goal.

Return visits with an Osteopathic Practitioner are
30- 60min in length and will continue on with the previously outlined treatment plan. This gives us chance to check in on progress, continue with treatment and alter and progress exercises as needed. This also gives us a great chance to discuss preventative interventions moving forward.
